Tim Elwell

photo_tim_elwellTim is the Vice President of Misys Open Source Solutions - Healthcare. In this role, Tim leads the company’s open source strategy in support of healthcare products and services offerings. A well-known expert and blogger on open source development and technologies in the healthcare industry, Tim is helping to expand the influence of the open source approach to improve patient care.

Prior to joining Misys, Tim spent 11 years at IBM working in various business development roles. He also led large equity and deal capture opportunities in the healthcare market, before becoming Sales Director for state and local business.

Before his career at IBM, Tim served as Deputy Director for Columbia University’s Center for Advanced Technology. He also held executive operations roles for Raytel Medical and Medtronic, Inc., respectively. Tim started his career at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Certified Cardiovascular Technologist.

Tim is currently on the Board of Stewards for Open Health Tools (OHT) and leads the OHT marketing efforts. Additionally he is a Commissioner at CCHIT.

Tim graduated from the City University of New York at Baruch College with an MBA in General Management, and an undergraduate degree in Biology from Siena College.

Konda Mullapudi

photo_konda_mullapudiKondayya (Konda) is the Director of Misys Open Source Solutions – Healthcare. Konda joined Misys Healthcare systems in January 2000 as a business analyst/offshore project manager and has served in various positions before his current role. Konda brings more than 15 years of product management and technology management experience to the team, with a primary focus on driving meaningful change to improve healthcare and lower the cost of healthcare delivery. Konda’s expertise in healthcare IT is in the areas of Practice Management and Electronic Health Record systems, Health Information Exchange governance, privacy and security and regulations.

Konda’s proven expertise in managing global technology teams represents the necessary skills for developing advanced healthcare IT solutions that span multiple product lines and software releases. His background includes developing software in the agile methodology, new approaches in applications development that leverage open source technologies and Software-as-a-Service. Konda has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Ranchi University in India.

Konda currently serves as a work group member for the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology's Health Information Exchange Working Group, which is responsible for developing certification processes for Health Information Exchanges.

Dennis Mancinelli

PMP Certified Executive Project Manager with over 35 years of managerial and technical experience in all areas of data processing with a proven track record in the management of large system integration projects. Dennis is currently managing the development and deployment of a Health Information Exchange (HIE) at Hartford Hospital. He has also been a SME for the development of IBM's Worldwide Project Management Methodology where he designed, developed and delivered basic and advanced project management education to internal and external customers worldwide.
